I wanted to do something fun for an end of the year party I was having. I Sent out invitations that said time, date, and to meet at my house, but I also said for parents to call my
parents to find out where the secret end spot was so their parents couold pick them up.
This next part is kind of difficult but if you nuumber each of the clues it will be easier. We typed up clues on the computer, each one had three parts. 1. A clue to where the next clue was hidden. 2. An object they had to find. 3. A clue to the secret end spot. We hid the clues all over the neighborhood. We gave each group of about 5 people 1 clue to start and sent them on their way. If one clue was to go to the playground the next one would be hidden there and so on. The objects each team had to find were different, some were specific, others not like something orange, or something round. We also had the rule that as you were going to people's houses that you knew you could only take one thing from each house. Once a team got all the clues, everything they had to find, and figured out where the end spot was, they went there. Once all the teams were there, we figured out who the winner was based on how many objects they had, time it took them to complete it, and creativity. The winning team was awarded gift certificates to a local ice cream parlor. At the end spot we had a fire pit and smores. This was a very fun party idea for anyone looking for a great idea.
