The Mad Scientist Party  I am in the process of planning a party built around simple science experiments. Old white button down shirts will be the lab coats. There will be several stations set up with activities to do.  Mixing baking soda and vinegar for chemical reactions; a bowl of water sprinkled with black pepper, add a drop of soap and watch what happens to the pepper; placing a facial tissue over a paper towel tube fasting it with a rubber band, add 3 in. of table salt into the tube and try to push a broom handle size dowel rod through it and see what happens. We will serve dirt cake with gummy worms and I am not sure what else as of yet.  The wheels are just beginning to churn.
