We decided to do a seventies/disco party for our 10 yr. old daughter.  She picked the theme and we are going w/ it. For starters we tye-dyed shirts and socks for our girls. They will wear them to the party.  For decorations we have a disco light, black light, strobe light, streamers, balloons, glittered guitars for the walls and psychedelic signs. There will be lots of disco music and dancing contest. We are tye-dying the cake and adding hippie vw bugs all over it.  For party favors we have mood rings, friendship bracelets, wild notepads and erasers, and of course candy. The girls that are spending the night are going to make love beaded curtains out of hemp, buttons, and beads.  They will have movies to get them through the night and lots of snacks.  We plan on lots of food, fun and excitement.  It should be a birthday party to remember for a lifetime. The funny thing is, at my 10th birthday party we dance to YMCA and now here we are again, singing and dancing to it all over...:0)
