Rainbow Fish Party   The party was actually given at a skating rink, but this theme could be used at any type of party. The party girl actually found an outfit with Rainbow fish on the front. The cake of course was in the shape of a fish and very colorful. We had craft-time where we had fish cutouts and the kids glued sequins to cover the fish, as in the book. In the treat bags, we put all fish items. (Goldfish crackers, Rainbow fish bookmarks, and many other small items. Fish themes are easy to come by.) At the end of the party the children got to pick their own live goldfish. We kept these in a small swimming pool so the children could look at them during the party. Don't forget to have a small bag of fish food and a small amount of declorinizer in their treat bags so moms will not have to make a trip to the store. Another idea is to read the book to the children, it's a great treat!
