My birthday was soooooo much fun! I turned 12, and I wanted a sleepover with all my girl friends but I wanted to invite all my guy friends too, and everybody knows by the time they hit 3rd grade guys DON'T have cooties! Well anyways my mom and dad got a divorce when I was 10 & I live with my mom and she is on a really tight budget and I live in a condo so we don't have a great amount of space to invite all my friend (and believe me I have a lot of friends!)I didn't want to hurt any of their feelings..so with the help of my sister who looked up this very awesome website she came up with the perfect idea!!!! We bought really tropical colored balloons and streamers ( at the $1 store) and decorated the whole house in a tropical theme! Since all my friends and I love swimming and relaxing in the hot tub I was determined to have a swimming party that started at 3 and when everybody arrived (about 20 kids!) so did the pizza man and we all ate and we went swimming then my mom called us in to eat cake and watch me open presents! My mom bought these disposable cameras (6 for $20!)and we all took really cool group pictures! Then we all went to swim a little more and played some football, then the boys left around 6 and then the girls had an awesome sleepover!!!! We all had virgin margaritas and relaxed in the hot tub like we were movie stars which was so fun!!!!! We gave make overs, and made ice cream sundaes, baked really yummy cookies, watched movies, and played really cool games like Who Am I, which is a game where you put on these jackets that have movie stars taped on it and u are not allowed to see who you are but ask everybody else questions like do I have red hair, etc. and they ask u questions like that too! We had some more film from the cameras my mom bought and the girls and I took some really wacky, fun, pics! We stayed up till like 4 am and we fell asleep then we woke up and my mom made a really good buffet style breakfast with orange juice, fruit, pancakes, sausage, bacon, and cereal! We played a little longer. The girls left by 1:30 and there was no mess to pick up! Everybody still talks about how much fun they had at my party and cant wait till my birthday party next year, and they always ask me where I come up with all my good birthday ideas and I automatically tell them about www.birthdaypartyideas.com!  My mom said it was a great idea to have a party at home and it was very fun and cheap!
