For my daughters 12th birthday, she decided she wanted a birthday party. Well, I didn't really know what 12 year old girls like, so I let my daughter do most of the planning. [Invitations] For
invitations, We mainly just contacted the parents of the children we were inviting. We also invited family, since the Park Part of the party was at the park & there was more than plenty
of space. But for contact information, we had store bought invitations, that read : Allison's 12th,You're Invited!! We had the time & date of the party & for the girls we were
inviting to the after slumber party what to bring: blanket/ sleeping bag pillow & a favorite snack to share. We also included what time the parents could pick them up in the morning.
[Park Party] For the park session of the party we had mainly just your average birthday party a BBQ for lunch while I had my husband cooking hamburgers & hot dogs. We had condiments
(ketchup mustard pickles cheese etc.) and snacks (chips cookies brownies etc.) Once everyone had eaten we had a pinata that was ready to be hit. Once everyone had they're candy we decided to
light the candles on the cake. We had a chocolate ice cream cake which everyone loved. After the cake was served the birthday girl opened her presents. [Sleepover] As soon as everyone decided
to start heading home we took the girls who were coming to the Sleepover part of Allison's party. So we let the girls blare their favorite tunes for the ride home such as their favorite songs
from Hannah Montana; Jonas Brothers; Selena Gomez; Demi Lovato etc. When we arrived home the girls mainly rested and got settled for about 10 minutes and then we started on some activities.
First we set up an Arts & Crafts Table where the girls made goodie bags they made themselves they used decorated tote bags we made at the Arts & Crafts Table. I bought the bags for
about two dollars each at a crafts store. And we bought diffrent colored paints for a couple dollars each & sequins beads and other things for the girls to decorate their bags with. They
filled the bags with candy sleeping masks we bought for the girls and a souveiner teddy bear the girls made themselves. We rented scary movies for the girls to watch which they loved &
they all shared the sncks they brought for the party. After the movies the girls talked for about two hours in Allisons room and then got bored so we had to do something creative since we
hadn't planned any more activities. So we played Freeze Dance outside with the music turned up loud. After that the girls we worn out so we decided to let them hang out & watch
another movie. They picked A Cindrella Story. So after that they talked & played games for about another hour. They fell asleep at about 3:00 am. So we let them sleep in until 12:00 and
the girls parents were'nt scheduled to pick them up until that evening. So we let the girls eat breakfast (We made themChocolate-chip pancakes Banana Nut Muffins Waffles Bacon Sausage Cereal
Orange Juice Chocolate Milk) Then we took them to the mall. We dropped them off at around 2 and picked them up at around 5. They came home & lounged around until it was time for their
parents to come pick them up. Out of all the party was a success."
