I have come up with some basic slumber party ideas for girls ages 12-14 that will help with a party. DECORATIONS:Set the mood with a color scheme like purple and white for example. Hang up
streamers and balloons everywhere you will spend most of the night such as in the living room and kitchen. If you have time to hang up Christmas lights it's gives the party more fun. FOOD: If
you are serving dinner start the party a little earlier like 5:00 or 5:30. For dinner have basic pizza, burgers or even you can make your own sandwiches from some different meats and cheeses.
Always have the basic cake and ice cream. Popcorn and chips are good snacks but if you want to have some healthy things too like fruit and carrots with ranch dressing. Pancakes, muffins or
going out to eat is a good idea for breakfast. GAMES:Play standard group games like light as a feather, truth or dare (as long as no one is forced to do anything they don't want to do and)and
hide and seek. Start off the party with a front yard silly string fight to get everyone used to each other if you have a newer friend. Buy two cans as long as everyone switches off no one
will fight. A movie around 9:00 is good to help people settle down. CRAFTS: make friendship bracelets, decorate pillowcases or shirts and make sure you have cardboard in between them so the
paint doesn't bleed through. Painting boxes and covering them with sequins and glitter looks cool and it's something people can actually use. FAVORS: For favors try buying lipgloss,
nailpolish, a cheap bracelet or necklace, candy, a mini flashlight or a cute keychain. OTHER TIPS: For a girl that most friends haven't met ask her to come a few minutes early so they can be
introduced to everyone as they come. Put a night light in the hall so when someone is going to the bathroom they won't trip. Clearly state where you are not to go such as your parents room.
These things will help you make your party classic and not too complicated.
