Slumber party We invited the girls my daughter went to kindergarten with. At Fun Day(which is the end of school party at school) we talked to all the girls mothers and told them that we were
planning the party and got everyone's phone #. I purchased plastic cups that had lids and filled them with all kinds of things from the dollar stores. We had hair clips, nail polish, toe
separators, lip gloss, rings, toe rings, nail decals and sticker earrings. We bought labels and printed each girls name out and put it on each cup.(this way all the girls could keep their
cups together) I bought extra hair clips and scrunchies and made them into separate bags. We put a different colored smiley face one each bag, and then one of each color on a piece of paper.
We then inserted the paper into a balloon and blew it up. we had one "special" prize in a bag.
Each girl got a balloon and had to pop it as fast as they could, then search for the paper. They then had to match the paper to the smiley face on the bag and that's what they got . Then someone won the special prize the same way. We then made dream catchers, which I found an easy way to make on the Zoom website(www.pbs.org click on zoom) The girls thought this was neat and they used them when they went to bed. We also had a quiet time where they painted their nails and talked. We ordered pizza and chicken wings and had lots of goodies, and breakfast was fun...doughnuts and cereal and they talked all about the good dreams their dream catchers brought them. We took tons of pictures of the whole group, then we gave each girl(a week or so later)a picture frame with the groups picture for them to remember. When my younger daughter is ready for a slumber party, I would do it again in a second because they had a great time.
