For my daughter's 10th Birthday she had her whole soccer team sleep over and other friends (20 girls). I totally had the whole thing organized. The theme of the party was
"Sleepover Star/singer Night". They had to dress up as a famous singer or movie star in order to attend the party. When they arrived they ate pizza and then ice-cream. I live
across the street from a park, so after they were done eating they all had to pick a number out of a hat. They either chose number 1 or number 2 and 2 lucky kids picked a piece of paper
that said "you are the captain of your team". I did it that way so they couldn't choose their friends (some girls were not on the soccer team). I explained to them after
they picked their numbers that
was their team for the night. For the first game - I handcuffed (using plastic handcuffs from the dollar store) each girl on the two teams, with their captain in the front with a flash light and bucket. Then I walked them across the street where they had a scavenger hunt. (But had to stay stuck together). (I hid funny things like an SOS Pad, a pigs ear, etc.) The losers had to sing the Barney Song to my neighbors (I got that idea from your site - I think). The second contest was for group singers. Each team had to do a group karoke song and dance. The losers had to sing I'm a little teapot to older kids they new down the street, then we had a prize for the best costume - which was Olivia Newton John, a prize for the best solo artist, which was Jimmy Buffet and then last but not least - they did the toilet paper game - one team against the other - who could wrap the other team up in toilet paper first. For the favors I had shirts made that said "I survived Ashley's 10th Birthday Party". It was a blast. Also, I put a picture of each child while performing their solo in their thank you card. And video taped everyone's solo and group contest so the parents could see. P.S. I was Madonna and I had 2 highschool kids help me. We even had fun!!!
