Pizza Night and Sleepover  For my 8 year old sons birthday party he wanted a sleepover and to eat pizza...(boring...) so we jazzed it up with a pizza theme. First, I printed the invitations on stationary from a craft store that had a big pizza slice on it!  At the bottom of the invitation it said, " Bring your sleeping bag and a BIG appetite!  We'll eat pizza for supper, pizza flavored popcorn, pizza chips, play pizza games and watch movies that have pizza in them....we'll even have pizza for breakfast the next morning." What a hit.  We started with each child making their own pizza on an English muffin crust using a variety of ingredients I had on the table. Next they played "Combo Pizza" our version of Fruit Basket turnover using pizza ingredients. Next was pizza darts, I made a pizza from poster board and hung it on the wall and we used ping pong balls covered in velcro strips to throw at the velcro pepperoni (each with a point value) on the pizza poster.  Later the boys ate pizza flavored Pringles, pizza flavored Combos and popcorn with pizza seasoning I made from dry spaghetti mix and parmesan cheese, while watching the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies.  Because they survived on pizza, remember? The next morning I served breakfast pizza with sausage, cheese and scrambled eggs for toppings.   And the party favors were a t-shirt the kids made themselves that said, "We pigged out on pizza at Connor's Party" on the front and all the kids signed each others shirts on the back.  My son said it was his best party ever! My son and his friends said it was the best party ever!
