For my birthday party when I was 9, I had a Spa Party at my own house!
The theme of the party was BEFORE AND AFTER like a makeover. I had my friends come dressed really ugly and dirty looking and bring a stunning outfit for later. *INVITATIONS*: for my invitations I bought simple cards from iparty (http://www.iparty.com)that were girly colors with lipstick tubes, high heels and makeup. Then I wrote all the info. in them and told them to bring a stunning outfit, to dress dirty and groos looking and to bring a Bathing Suit and a towel. *DECORATIONS*: For my decorations I put steamers and ballons everywhere and picked 2 colors so everything matched,(mine were pink and purple). *ACTIVITYS*: My mom scheduled severel activites. When guests arrived, we took there before pic. when they looked ugly and gross for a scrapbook. After we took everyone's pictures we started the makeover. We started with putting on a facial mask and cucumbers on our eyes while my mom and my aunt and my cousin painted everyones nails in the color(s) of their own choosing. Then we took off are masks and by the time that was over are nails were dry. Then we changed into are stunning outfits (if the girls forgot to bring an outfit, we had extra ones just incase for them to use). After we got changed my cousin, my aunt and my mom did our hair and makeup(they didnt use much makeup they put it on very light). After our makeover was complete we took are AFTER photo for the scrap book. After that my mom recorded us having a fashion show and we watched it later. Then we took are photos and made scrap books with the pics. and supplies we bought(this was a great hit!). *CAKE*: My cake was from Cold Stone Creamery and had paper things on it. *GOODY BAGS*: For my goody bags we bought pamper things from the dollar store and they were pretty nice even though they were dollar store. *SNACKS*: We had lots of chips and junk food for snacks including M & M's. Then we went swimming and had a slumber party! I hope my birthday party gave you an idea about your next birthday!! [:
