My beautiful 9 year old daughter had been through a very tough 5 months prior to her 10th Birthday, as she was now going to have to share me" with a little sister to be born soon & had been through a lot just trying to deal with this news of my pregnancy. So I decided for her 10th birthday to give her a Relaxing Spa Party.  I figured she had helped me so much that she needed to be able to relax & be pampered as well as enjoy her special day! The invitations were hand crafted very pretty with ribbons and ONLY GIRLS� were invited.  A clubhouse was set up with 3 tables decorated with pretty pink & purple tablecloths & lots of balloons.  Soft relaxing music was played at first then party girly music to start the party afterwards.  The 1st table was set up with 4 -5 plastic bowls & each one had a different mixture for a facial (oatmeal with honey The 2nd table was set up for manicures & it had all colors of nail polish & nail art & stickers.  The 3rd table was set up for arts & crafts & at this table the girls were able to make bracelets with all kinds of neat & cool charms.  There was a sofa that was used to have the girls sit & relax while getting their pedicures with young tweens & girly magazines for them to read while relaxing.. As the girls started to arrive at the clubhouse we had a big poster board with my daughter's picture in the middle and everyone got the chance to sign it to show their presence we greeted them & provided them with either a pink or purple furry bath robe & pedicure slippers.  They were all given also head band to hold their hair while getting their facials. They each went to different stations & as one finished getting a manicure the next one had already finished getting a facial.  For drinks we served Pink Champaign / White Champaign� or in real terms Strawberry or Ginger ale Soda� & they had for appetizers: shrimp cocktail sandwich rolls chips & dip & I used a chocolate fountain & set up a section with pretzels marshmallows cheese squares green & red apple slices to be dipped in the chocolate fountain with skewers.  They were also served cupcakes designed like a purse chocolate also designed like lipsticks & nail polishes. For the loot bags I had 15 real purses filled with all kinds of spa & girly items (lip gloss nail polish nail file stickers nail art washable tattoos hair clips a picture frame in the shape of a crown & thank you cards. The party was a huge success I did get to relax since I had friends of mine to work the stations & family members to help serve the food.  All the girls had a blast.  Of course before we actually sang to her boys were able to come in so we can give out the cupcakes open presents all because her dad wanted to see what he missed out on since he is a boy. She did ask what will we do next year since this was great next year must be better on our way home.  I must out do myself again.   "
