Here are my ideas for the perfect Spa Birthday party. INVITATIONS: I made my invitations online. I used Microsoft Publisher and decorated the cards with brown and pink themed items. On the
front it said You're Invited! and had the logo of my spa, which i made online. Inside I had the party details, when and where. What to bring, the basic stuff. The front and back of the
invites were brown and pink polka dots. DECORATIONS: I took pink and brown crepe paper and taped them to each corner of the room. I then brought them to the middle of the ceiling in the room.
This created a fun canopy in the room. I also had cushions, pillows, and flameless candles around the room. I hung up some white Christmas-like lights around the room, so at night it glowed.I
printed out my spa's logo and hung it for the guests to see. We had three rooms, to make it more like a hotel. We had one room for the Spa, one room for the Night Owls. This is where girls
who wanted to talk and stay up late could hang out. Then we had the Slumber Room. This is where girls who wanted their beauty sleep could be found.
ACTIVITIES: For the activities, I had the guests get into a pair. With their pair they were to travel around my spa and hotel, named with my initials and No.13 because I was turning 13. The stations were Manicures, Facials, Hand Wax, Relaxation, and Massage. At the manicure station I took a Barbie Doll'd Up Machine that I had gotten for Christmas that year. It prints nail designs on your nails so I let the guests choose their design. At every station was a parent. Then at the facial station guests had their partners put the masks on them. They went to the relaxation station to chill out while the facials dried, along with the girls waiting for their nails to dry from Manicures. At hand wax, my mom has a parrafin machine, so we let the girls dip their hands in the wax. They also went to the Relaxation station to let the wax dry. At massage, my sisters friend massaged our feet. FOOD: We had Spa water, which was just lemon water. Made with ice water and fresh lemon slices. We had fresh fruit out, and of course cucumbers for the facial station. But the guests hopefully didn't eat those! GAMES: We basically just talked a lot and watched movies. You do not want to force games upon guests. At this age, we just like to talk. FAVORS: We gave out little pink goodie bags with a nail polish, loofah, and a 99 cent face mask. In the morning, we had a breakfast of waffles and raspberries.
