For my 11th birthday I'm having a makeover slumber party. I decided to combine some other ideas on the site with some of my own ideas for the ultimate party. I invited 7 of my closest friends.
We bought t-shirts to write names or staff on to serve as bathrobes for everyone. Not only was it a makeover party but after we did makeovers we would do modeling. When the guests arrived
they'd be sent to a "reception desk" and recieve their bathrobe. As soon as everyone had arrived we ate pizza and cookie cake (a huge cookie avaliable at your local grocery stor
coverd with frosting). Then I opened my presents while we had facials. Next we had requested on the invitations that they each bring PJs, a fancy outfit, and an exta casual outfit(also BYO
hairbrush). Now was time for makeovers. We had plenty of candles all around along with soothing music. There was a hair station, a makeup station,a design flipflops activity, and a nail
station all equipped with my magazines to read. Each was operrated by my older sister (who's 14) and her glamourous friends (1 at makeup, 2 at hair, and 1 at nails). After that was when we
changed into one of our outfits and modeled. The older girls judged us and handed out awards. (We would send the best picture of them to them with a thank-you note for the present.) A ton of
pictures were taken. After awhile we changed into our PJs and washed off the makeup. Then we played games such as: charades, fashion trivia, Shopping Spree (a board game), and ballon buster
(put on fake fingernails and bust others' balloons). Then we watched movies like Princess Diaries 1 and 2, What a girl wants, The prince and me, and because of Winn- Dixie. For the goody bags
we used cheap tiny purses with makeup inside and other hair stuff. It was a blast.
