For my daughter Samantha's 9th birthday party.
We decided to do a whole beauty spa theme. We had different stations in the house hair styles, make up artist, manicures, pedicures, massages, boutique and cafe. We made posters and banners introducing a new establishment called Sams Glam 'O' Rama and her birthday was the grand opening. We had nine girls invited when the girls arrived they received a pink purse with lots of play money. At each of the stations we had signs posted listing the prices of service posters were all done on hot pink bristol board. The girls paid with their play money and received something at each stations. At the hair salon we hired a real hair dresser (a friend) to do professional styles and when they were finished they received a goody bag or hair stuff then they moved on to make-up where make up was applied and they received all the make up used on them in a goody bag. At the manicure and pedicure they received nail stuff and at the massage table they received lotions and of course a massage. At the boutique they could purchase necklaces rings bracelets etc.. and those things purchased were put into special Sam's Glam o'Rama paper bags with Sam's Glam O' Rama labels on them (they looked very hi-class). At the cafe we served Latte (chocolate milk & whipped cream) in disposable coffee cups with lids also we had crossants and veggies fruit and of course we had cake. After the girls were all dolled up they changed into special gowns/dresses (which they brought with them) for the glamour shots we took individual and group shots. For thank you cards I made up glamour sheets for each of the girls. Also my sisters sisters & in law and myself dressed up all in white shirts with a pink organza bow and a name tag made with sequins we wearing lots of bling bling make up and heels and really went to town. We had a great time and so did the girls. I received many calls after the party to tell us how great it was."
