For my birthday this year (I turned 13) I did a spa party. I invited 5 other girls. For the invitations I sent out pink cardstock with a picture of a girl with cucumbers on her eyes. Everyone came to my house at 1:00. Then a limo picked us up and to us to a local spa. There we split in to 2 groups. One group went and got 30 min. facials while the other group got 30 min. massages. Then after that we all got to go in the hot tub while the place set up for other things. Next we all got to go in a mud bath (the girls were instructed to bring old bathing suits. After that we got manicures and pedicures. We thanked everyone and the limo picked us up. I thought we were going to bring everyone home but my parents planned a suprise instead the limo brought us to a local hotel where six beautiful dresses were waiting for all of us. I FREAKED OUT!!! We all got to go to a fancy dinner at the hotel. Then after that we all got to stay in the hotel room for the night. (There were 2 queen beds, 3 to a bed) In the mornign we ordered breakfast in bed then (I know I couldn't believe there was more either!) the limo took us to a water park (we lucked out on the weather) until later that afternoon when we dropped everyone off at home. Whew! I love my parents for what they did and thank them every day!
