My 14th birthday party was a BLAST!!!!! The theme was LADIES NIGHT OUT! I invited only 3 friends because the cost of the party was fairly expensive. When the guest arrived we all socialized for about 15 minutes and then my Mom loaded us up into the car. We drove to a hotel on the beach (I live in Va Beach). The hotel was a Holiday Inn and had an outside and indoor pool with over 4 hot tubs! So the first thing we did was take a refreshing dip. After that we all went into our room (my mother and sisters had a room next to ours and we had our own room) and did our make-up and hair. We all looked reallly dolled up and cute. We were ready for a night out on the town! My mother came with us becuase four 14 year olds out on the town was too risky. The first thing we did was go into THE HAUNTED FUN HOUSE. Tickets were only 6 bucks each! That was fun! Then we went into a few surf shops where the girls who brought some of their own money made a couple purchases. After that we went out for dinner at California Pizza which was loads of FUN! Finally we all walked down to the sandy beach when the moon was full and the sky was brilliant. We brought some Ben & Jerry's icecream down to the beach with us where we played tag, got our feet wet, danced, chatted, and took loads of pictures! On our way back to the hotel we stopped to watch a free concert that was playing at the Va beach Boardwalk. And the concert was FREE! When we got back into the hotel room we had cupcakes and soda pop. We took another dip in the pool and then watched a few movies on paper view. Finally after one of the funnest nights of my life we got to bed around 4 AM!!! When we woke up we swam in the ocean and had lunch at Phill's Grill and then we dropped the girls off. WOW! Sounds like a lot of cash... well it was but it was totally worth it because even my mom said she had the time of her life.
