My party idea is for a Hollywood Spa Party!1)Invites:It would be best to get some cardstock paper from a office supply store, such as, Staples or Office Depot.My color choosings would be pastel purple and silver.Pick one color paper as the back sheet of the invites. Take the paper and cut them so that they are at least 6in.tall and 8in. wide(or whatever size you might like them to be). Cut the other sheet of paper so that it is slightly smaller than the other(for size coordinates maybe 4in. tall and 6in. wide). If you're feeling creative, try some craft cut scissors.With a gel pen of a viewable color on the paper,write your party info on the inside of the invite.For example of some party sayings try this,(outside)"Are you a stressed Hollywood star who needs a night of fun and beauty rest...(inside)Come to ______'s Hollywood Spa Bash!Come in your star studded clothes!" 2)Decor: The colors that you used for your invitations are the colors you should use for your decorations.Have pastel purple and white streamers hanging from each doorway of the rooms you are going to use. Buy some silver and pastel purple helium balloons in addition to some regular balloons of the same color and get some cellophane purple balloon weights to put in each room and on the dining table. Use silver and pastel purple plastic tableclothes for a easy throw away efficiency.To let your partygoers know where the party's at, put a sign on the door of the party dwelling with a creative title that lets them know it's your Hollywood Spa Party.Put signs on rooms your parents declare as off limits. 3)Spa Rooms: I would choose 4 rooms or 4 tables for each spa treatment you are going to perform. Try and make some homemade chocolate chip granola bars, fruit smoothies, a fruit and veggie platter with ranch dip for the veggies and chocolate sauce for the fruit. Have some Doritos, Chex mix,Utz original chips or pretzels. Buy some plastic champagne glasses or use some real glasses from your mother's china closet if you promise to be careful. Go for some Martinelli's Original Sparkiling Cider or if your feeling daring try the Grape Cider! Note about the Martinelli's: The stuff does go fast so I would buy the mini bottles so each guest can have her own. For the main course meal, go for the classic dish,PIZZA! You can NEVER go wrong there! After the star studded gala, have the Hollywood beauties put on their PJs and settle down for some awesome chick flicks.
