For my sister's 11th birthday, we had a spa party at the Embassy Suites hotel.
We sent out cute spa invitations we found at a party store a few weeks before and told them to come to the hotel at 4 o'clock. Since check in time was 1 o'clock this allowed us time to turn the hotel room into a spa before everyone arrived. We put signs on the doors like powder room and relaxation room. We asked the hotel for extra towels so all the girls could take a relaxing bubble bath. In the bathroom we put stuff for facials and manicures. My job was to help all of the guests with the facials and their nails. The hotel had a steam room, so after they finished swimming they all sat in the steam room then came up to the room to be pampered. We ate the normal sleepover food (pizza, chips, soda, etc.) and had a "spa cake." My mom made a cake in the shape of a star and wrote on it "spa time." For a midnight snack we made ice cream sundaes. We had two kinds of ice cream, all different kinds of sauces, whip cream, sprinkles, and anything else you could think of is perfect. As party favors, we gave each of the girls party bags that said things like "Rachael's Spa Kit." In the party bags we included bath salts, bubble bath, loofas, nail polish, toe seperators, a nail file, and small jar of clay masks. Everyone loved the party and I still heard her friends talking about it months afterwords.
