For my son's 6th birthday, we had a Spiderman party. This was before the big movie came out, but he's always been a huge Spidey fan. Of course, I had Spiderman come to entertain the kids,
which he did with stories and amazing web-slinging stunts. We played pin the web on Spiderman. I blew up a picture of Spiderman found online, and then made some small paper webs for the
''tails.'' The one who pinned the web closest to Spidey's hand won a prize. The prizes ranged from Spiderman tattoos and plastic spiders to Spiderman coloring books and Spiderman Pez
dispensers. I also handed out pictures of Spiderman to each child, found online, and had Spiderman autograph them. Great frameable souvenir. Then, I had each child pose individually with
Spiderman, and sent each photo with the thank you notes. I also found the original Spiderman theme song online, downloaded it, and played it repeatedly during musical chairs. Goodie bags were
full of Spiderman stuff, including chocolate bars with Spiderman wrappers. Cake was Spiderman's face, surrounded by webs and plastic spiders. Used store bought Spiderman plates, cups, etc.,
and placed plastic spiders at every place setting. I also hung Spiderman posters here and there, and used all my son's action figures, and Spiderman related cars, etc. for table decorations.
Great time, even Spiderman asked me to be his agent!
