~~~Slime Time Party~~~~~ For my sons 7th birthday we wanted to do something different than all the parties we had been to. And since boys love messes, had to be VERY messy. We sent out invites & warned parents to dress in play clothes, as it would be super messy & to RSVP so we would have enough SLIME.  We decorated in green & orange the nickelodeon colors. We split up the kids in 2 teams (blue & red team) & kept score -10 points for every game they won- on poster boards. Winners got their candy bags. And just when the 2nd place was sad, they got theirs too! I made 2 huge pots of slime before hand & we had slime relays with bowls of slime on their heads to fill up a cup. And saved some slime for the birthday boy at the end of the party(SLIME= part water, part cornstarch & green food coloring we had to play with the recipe) We did a banana toss, as well as a SPAM toss.We played "shaving cream snowman" (living in Tx this is the only snowman most of the kids had made) we armed the teams with shaving cream & put goggles on the "snowman" & the team to empty the can first won (they ofcourse had to then put a hat) We then had a relay race around the park ending up in a kiddy pool of green jello filled with fake bugs they had to dig out with thier teeth & carry back to the next in line. After they got all good & messy we gave them waterguns to get clean. Then ate a "slime cake" white & green jello cake. (we also had finger foods & sour green slime punch) A few more games we had planned, but ran out of time were "sundae scoop" each team has to make a sundae in their mouth using a scoop of pudding, canned whip cream & sprinkles. "Rice relay"- carrying rice by spoonfulls to fill up the cup. "Pretzle pass" everyone gets a straw in their mouth & has to pass the pretzel to the next one ine line.  The kids LOVED getting messy & loved the slime & they are all still talking about it & wanting a slime time party for their birthdays!!
