Water Obstacle Park Make blue construction paper invitations on which have your child draw water waves and glue on cut-out goldfish and a big yellow sun. Ask kids to arrive in swimsuits with towels, sunscreen, dry clothes. Set up a numbered obstacle relay course with 3 blow-up pools (2 small, 1 large), a sprinkler and hula hoops. Divide into two teams. Blow a whistle. As the first pair reach the end of the second station, the next pair start (to whistle blow.)Station 1. hula hoop 8 rounds and do a cartwheel or summersault through the sprinkler.2. Slide down big slide (wet with hose running slowly) sitting on small blow up rafts landing on a Slip-N- Slide (cushioned underneath)4. Sit outside pool with feet in small pool filled with water and a 3 bags of ice. Catch 3 ice cubes using bare-feet. 5. Get blasted with water balloons by parents. 6. Jump into large pool to play and cheer on other teammates. 7. When last one is in pool, give each a can of color bath foam. Free play until pizza, cake and ice cream. 9. Serve a pool party sheet cake with blue icing and teddy graham swimmers, striped gum for board and floats, lifesaver buoys, gummy swim-rings, gumballs. 10. Gift bags have sunglasses, sun screen samples, squirt guns.  Great summer day party they want year after year!
