My son turned one. I wanted to do something really creative and different.  I didn't want anything with baby's first birthday with Winnie the pooh, sesame street, farm animals, blues clues or anything very common. My son likes different type of sport balls. I did hand made invitation cards with a number 1 (Jakob is turning One)and 4 different sport balls stickers to decorate with. I had goodie bags in clear wrap bag with sport balls and I put Gatorade juice box, bobooka gums, cracker jacks and few sport party favors. As for the cake, I didn't want any type of flat sheet cake.  I found this cake ball pan which u can make a cake ball. It is just a perfect ball cake!  I did all in soccer, baseball and basketball and then I had a football one. We had this party at a park and did two games related to sports.  We also had a sport piñata and sport bouncer matched to the theme!
