Star Wars Party for 11 year old boy. From May-July of 2005, Burger King is having Star Wars toys in their kids meals. I requested ten "king crowns" with the featured Star Wars characters on them for the party guests--cost "nothing".   I also picked up ten copies of the monthly Adventures newsletter (Vol. 16, Issue 05).  On the back of the Kid's Club newsletter, there is a list of all of the Star Wars toys which can be collected in the kid's meals. I made a 5x5 grid on an 8" x 11" sheet of paper and cut out 25 of the Star Wars character toys and put one in each grid. Using Yoda as the "free space", I created a Star Wars Bingo Game with all of the cut-out characters. We played "X" Wing Fighter Bingo, "Four Corners" of the Universe Bingo, and "Locked on Target" Bingo where the kids had to get a perfect square covered on their Bingo board. Instead of calling out "BINGO", the kids called out "STAR WARS!".   After all ten "bingo cards" were completed, I placed them in sheet protectors so they could be re-used again in the future (for family fun nights & to play with their friends). We used regular poker chips to "mark" the spaces which were called.  Once again, the cost was "nothing", except for a glue stick and ten sheets of computer paper which we already had available.  The kids had a blast playing the Star Wars Bingo game!  (This bingo game can be made with Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Toy Story, Shrek, Barney, etc. characters suited to fit the theme of the party.)   We also made a Yahtzee game out of the six different space ships from the Light and Dark Sides of the Force from the back of the newsletter, as well. Our son made five "dice" out of five of the wooden blocks he played with as a child by wrapping them with white paper and taping the space ships to each side of the dice. The kids at the party chose which space ship they wanted to be then they had to roll the Star Wars dice to get from one to five of each ship and whoever did it the fastest won the game.  They thought the Star Wars Yahtzee game was "cool".  We also wrapped his Foursquare ball in aluminum foil and played a game called "Pass The Death Star" (which was the headquarters of Darth Vader).  We played theme music from the Star Wars movies and when the music stopped the person holding the "Death Star" was out. The last child standing got a Star Wars t-shirt for a prize.  These games kept the kids busy for hours and there was never a dull moment.
