For my sons 6th Birthday, we held a star wars party as he is mad about star wars. We did this party for £100. INVITATIONS:I Made invitations on word and they said Calling ALL JEDI'S!!! Come to (name's) 6th Birthday and defeat the dark side!" Then there was details of date and time. Decorations: 2 star wars banners with all of the characters on them star wars posters and his star wars toys. ACTIVITIES/GAMES:On arrival the guest were sat at a table and coloured a picture of two lego star wars characters. Then we played the first gamesave the princesses.For this game we blew up 50 balloons and inside two of the 50 balloons were a picture of leia and padme. Whoever found the pictures were rewarded with a lightsaber lolly pop. Then we had a break where all of the kids had a drink and a chat. Then it was time for the second game;lightlightsabre.This is just a star wars version of the classic game duck duck goose. After that game we sat the kids down for lunch. PARTY SNACKS; we had: @Luke's Lightsabres:Breadsticks with foil handles and carrot and cucumber sticks @Crispy ships: Crisps @Comet cakes: Cupcakes with icing planets on top @Star sandwiches:The bread was cut into star shapes using a cookie cutter.The fillings were:Jabba Jamchewbacca cheese andhan solo ham. @Ewoks: Haribo goldenbears @Wookie cookies:cookies @Leia lollies:Rocket ice lollies DRINKS: @Yoda soda:Lemonade with slices of lime on either side to look like Yoda's ears @Jedi juice:Blackcurrant squash @Padme punch:Orange squash @Obi wan water:water @Robo cola:coke After lunch we played leia says(simon says) and pass the asteriod(pass the parcel). The prize was a star wars colouring book and pencils i got from a pound shop Everybody else got a packet of haribo starmix I was dressed as Leia and my best friends were Yoda and Darth. Me and Yoda taught the young Jedi's the saber moves and suddenly Darth Appeared so the kids tried out their moves on him and defeated the dark side! We used a pool noodle cut in half with black and silver tape for the light sabres.  Then we did a jedi assult course. In this they had to Bounce a balloon on their foam sabers 5 times do 3 star jumps run to yoda's swamp jump over it punch darth vader (a punch bag with vaders face on it) and get on a spaceship(spacehopper) and bounce to the finish line where they were given a bag of haribo star mix COSTUMES:Everybody wore their own costumes. We had a leiatwo yoda's and an obi. They looked wonderful so we took a picture of the group and used that for thankyou notes CAKE:My older sister owns a bakery in london and she made us a cake in the shape of Yoda for free!!
