My 3 year old daughter absolutely loves Strawberry Shortcake so we did everything except have Strawberry herself make a personal appearance.  We sent invitations to family and friends. We handwrote all the invitations with strawberry scented markers, rolled them up like candy, put a piece of strawberry candy inside and tied them up with ribbons.    I forgot to mention that this was a surprise party for my daughter, so my husband took her out to the park while we decorated the house. Pink and dk. pink balloons everywhere, pink and green streamers, pink table cloth with straberry shortcake's strawberry house that I found at the thrift store as a center piece. I downloaded the strawberry shortcake song from itunes so it was playing when she walked in the door ... totally surprised to see all the decorations and all of her friends and family.  She kept saying... it's my party! I gave her a gift bag... said Strawberry shortcake stopped by to wish her a Happy Birthday, she left her a note inviting her to Strawberry Land... the note had directions with all the places she had to go to 'find' strawberry shortcake.  Included with the note were gift bags for all the kids.  First they had to walk through lolli pop forest.  We led the kids to the back yard... there were lolli pops of all shapes and sizes... real and pretend ones made out of paper and straws stuck in the ground.  The kids had to find and pick all the real ones out of the ground. Then they arrived at Seaberry Delite's home... a plastic pool with pretend palm trees around it. The sea berries fell into the water... so the kids had to help get them out... I put sugar filled plastic fruit into the water and they had to fish it out with a fish net.  Next we went to Orange Blossom's home... a bunch of picnic tables out on the patio with orange balloons.  There was a variety of pitchers filled with a variety of juices and kool aids... I emptied out a bunch of plastic juice bottles with tops and glued labels with the child's name on them beforehand... they said.. 'Mialicious Berry strawberry juice... the kids found their bottle and chose whatever juice concoction they wanted to make... we put the tops on them and had them put them in their bag along with the lolli pops and sea berries. Then they had to go inside and wait at the kitchen table for Huclkeberry Pie.  My son arrived shortly thereafter dressed as HP with some specail HP Pizza pies.  Everyone then ate pizza and drank their juice. After pizza they had a special bag from Rainbow Sherbet to open... it was filled with yarn and fruitloops... they then had to make Rainbow necklaces. Next they took a trip to cookie corner in the living room.  There were large contruction paper cookies on the floor with a number on the bottom.  They had to walk on the cookies to ss music... then we stopped... picked a number then the child got a cookie bag while the rest of the kids finished the game.  Then they went to angel cake's oven for the next surprise... a cake for the birthday girl! I bought a strawberry ahortcake cake topper from the store... made a big circle cake... covered it with green icing for the grass and pink and red sprinkles and the strawberry shortcake house cake topper and it looked great. Then it was time to sit back in the living room... there was a strawberry shortcake character picture for each child to sit on (we got these out of a coloring book). My daughter would choose a card that corresponded with the pictures... when a child's picture was chosen ... she would open their present.  The last present was a Strawberry Shortcake doll with a note thanking her for coming to Strawberry Land. There was also a bag of strawberry koolaid homemade playdough for each child to take home.  It was great fun and it kept everyone busy! "
