My sons fifth birthday party was a Super Hero Training Party. This was a summer party - variations can be done to accomodate an indoor party. Supplies:  Incredibles print studio for invitations and Super Hero Training Manual, large manila envelope for invitation, Super Hero capes (ordered from ebay - customized with guests initials), Super Hero sticker (both for boys and girls), Super Hero masks (ordered from Oriental Trading company), small gift bag to fill stickers and candy to take home.  I used the Incredible Print Studio to make a Top Secret Invitation. I picked the female character who was using a computer as the top page. Underneath the photo I wrote Top Secret.  The second page I used Mr. Incredible as a photo and wrote the following: Mission: Super Hero Training Party for (childs name),Date ( birthday party date), Place ( place of party), Time:  (time of party). If you choose to accept this mission you must do the following: come with lots of engery and have loads of fun.  I then placed the invitation in a large manila envelope and wrote the guests name on the front. I also put CONFIDENTIAL  I used old wrapping paper and used the backing to paint in large letters: SUPER HERO TRAINING PARTY with the superman emblem on the side. I placed this on my car instead of balloons so kids could see it at the arrived at the party. I then used the Incredibles print shop to make a SuperHero Training Manual.  I went to Staples and purchased inexpensive materials to assemble the manual for each guest.  The front page of the manual" had a photo of one of the characters from The incredibles - underneath it read Super Hero Training Manual.  I then had three pages each with a character from The Incredibles movie. Each page had a task that needed to be completed and a section if completed to receive a sticker.  My tasks for completion were:  Save the citizen - kids needed to complete an obstacle course and at the end was a baby doll that needed to be picked up and brought back to safety. Battle the villain - kids used water balloons to "battle" a blow up Alien toy.  Mobility Endurace with Giga Ball - kids used the giga ball to roll around and test their motion/mobility endurance.    When kids arrived I had super hero print outs for coloring as guests arrived.  Once all guests were there we stared the "training".  As with every Super Hero - one must have a special mask.  Each guest was given a mask to decorate to their individual liking.  Once done we lined them up and handed out the manuals. I explained how every Super Hero goes through vigours training to be able to become a Super Hero.  I explained to the kids what we were going to do and then started the training.   At the end of the last task we all cheered.  I lined them up for the receiving of the "official" Super Hero cape. EAch guest was given a cape with their initial in the middle of the superman emblem. I then took a picture of each guest with the birthday boy.  I used these to send in the thank you notes to each guest.   AFter cake- ice cream and presents - each guest took home their mask training manual and a small gift bag with stickers and candy.   My son still talks of this party and refers to his "training manual" as a fond rememberance."
