For almost four years now, my friend, Lindsay, hasn't had a birthday party. I always wanted to throw her a surprise party, but because I was on such a budget, it was VERY hard. After searching for ideas, my mom told me what one of her friends did for her. Her friend, Ann, woke her up the morning of her birthday, told her happy birthday, and gave her birthday present. The present was a new shirt, some cool pants, a necklace, and new shoes. She told my mom to put it on. They went out to her favorite restaurant and ordered breakfast. After breakfast, Ann drove my mom around for an hour or so just talking about memories and of course, GUYS! After driving around, Ann took my mom to her favorite hangout where all of her friends were sitting. After laughing and playing around they had my moms favorite lunch. Then, Ann took everyone, my mom, and all of her friends, to Ann's house where they had the actual party. The theme was my moms dream-date at the time, 'Michael Jackson'. After cake and ice cream and presents, they all had a slumber party. My mom said that she looks fondly back on the birthday, she said that it was one of the best days of her life, and after I threw this party for Lindsay, she felt the same way.
