My 13th b-day party was the most fun party I've ever had, and unforgettable for the guests. I had a kidnapping party, which is somewhat like a surprise party, but the surprise was on the guests!! A few weeks in advance, instead of sending invitations, my mom called the parents of the guests to explain what was going to happen and asked for their permission. Then, on the day of my party, we woke up at about 5 o' clock, and went to the houses of the guests and woke them up! We filmed the reactions as they woke up to a camera and their friends urging them to wake up. It was extremely funny to watch the video later in the party. Another variation of this is to have the guests go to a Waffle House or some other breakfast restaurant in their pajamas. At my party, the parents had packed a bag for the guests with an extra pair of clothes and a bathing suit, and we had a pool party after everyone was picked up. I definitely recommend this party to any teen looking for a fun and unforgettable birthday party!!
