For my daughters 7th birthday party we did the Survivor theme. It was a huge success and I hope that someone can use one or some of my ideas.  FOr invites I went ti Kinko's and just made up an invite on colored paper and said "Please come to Espo Island for a Survivor Pool Party.  I went to Wal Mart and got fabric in two different colors one blue and one orang.  For decorations we got 6 tiki torches and i used and old sheet the I decorated with the Survivor Logo and and we hung over the front of the garage.  I also got a big tiki inflatable and tiki signs at Big Lots and we decorated the front yard where we would do the games.  When all kids were there they picked their Buffs out of a bag andseperated into teams. we made flags out of long dowls and old sheets.  One for each team.  They then had to decorate with paint and markers and give themselves tribal names.  We then went on to the challanges.  We did team challanges and then individual ones for immunity and a prize.  small prizes from the Dollar store and immunity necklece for DS as well. We set up a score board with all the challanges so we could keep score. 5 pts for first and 3 for 2nd. First chall. was obstacle cource.  walk ballance beam, put rocks in mini whellbarrrow move then down driveway and restack into pile, make a ring go int buckt and then make a basket in a little tikes basketball. It was awesone they all loved it.  Next, pucket up - cut up lemons and who could hold them in the longest - this was for indiv. immunity (prize). Next Tug of war, Next Bucket Brigade.  Bucket on one end of driveway has to be flled with water that is past down from one team member to the next when all filled one team member has to get a plastic shark and go put it in there.  That was also a blast.Next, was Lmbo we did that for Immunity (prize). Next was true or Flase Each team had a big the said true on one sidea nd Flase on the other. My husband who was playing Jeff asked T/F questions about Nick shows winner got the 5 pts.  Next one leg standing.  St on bricks out side on the sound of the wistle raise on leg and see how long you could hold it. This was for Individual Immunity (prize). Next it was untie rope.  My husband had set up samml ropes in fornt of each kid and at the sound of the wistle they had to run and untie it. After all games were played the winning team did the Libo again. the two best players went on to the Final Survivor challange.  Which was dig your hand deep into a bucket of real worms( got at my local Bait and Tackel) find a matchBox car. run to another box that has rope around it untie rope open up and there was a small 24 piece puzzle they had to put together.  The box was sitting next to them so they had a guide to follw.  First one done was the Ultimate Survivior and got a 5 dollar gift certificate from Toys R Us.  it was great. Iserved Pizza and ice cream cake that I decorated to look like Survivir island.  At Dollar General they had plastic Island scene and I just added that to already done plaine Carvel Ice cream cake. Used oreos crused for dirst and added plastic bugs.  Target also carried in their Dollar section big plastic bugs (ants, spiders) and I decorated food table. They also had plastic bug balls and plstic Lizzard pens theat I added to the Goody Bags. Everyone had a Blast.
