SWEET 16 PARTY!  My daughter is turning 16 next week.  She has dreamed for a few years of her party. Nothing really more elaborate that inviting 10 or so friends over for pizza and music and videos. For the last month I have told her she could only invite 5 friends over for a few hours that night. She's sooo upset and I'm soooo mean! When she gets home from school there will be a new outfit picked out by her friends as well as a hairdresser to fix her hair and makeup. We will tell her that the makeover is her present. When her 5 closest friends show up they will be picked up by a limosine and driven around for 45 minutes while I rush to the newest and most high tech night club in the city with the cake and favors ect.. The place will have been decorated that afternoon with professional personalized banners. The vidoe screen over the dance floor will flash pictures of her growing up. Her 5 friends have been instrumental in inviting 100 friends and aquaintances from her school. The guests will receive glow necklaces and bracelets ect... as they enter. (by the way, we are using a guest list, so no crashers allowed!) The DJ will play all of their request.  2 large 1/2 sheet cakes are being ordered and  30 XL pizzas will be delivered shortly after it begins. Disposable Camera's will be past around so that the guests can help to document the party! Our daughter was the hoolahoop champion for years at her school so toward the end of the party we will pull out hula hoops for everyone for the largest hula hoop contest ever! We'll see if she still has it in her! The video screen will show all of the hulahoop pics we have of her during the contest. I can't wait to surprise her, she has turned into such a beautiful young lady and we are sooo proud of her. The party only lasts 2 hours because the night club has to open.  All that's left now is to pray there are no problems and I don't drop the cakes!
