I'm going to have a Build a Bear party for my daughter's 5th birthday.INVITATIONS: I made invitations with bears holding balloons and put the party information on it, then matted it to green
card stock and added a pink bow. DECORATION: My daughter wanted pink and green for her colors so I'm going to cover the party table with a pink tablecover and put out pink and green balloons.
I'm going to make activity placements from green construction paper (11x17) and stencil the kids names on top. Then I'm going to print out a bear coloring page, a bear maze or word search and
a homemade bingo card and mat them and attach them on the construction party. I've just started doing this for all my parties and it keeps the kids busy. I'm also going to put out bear
stuffed animals. FOOD/SNACKS: My kids are picky eaters so I'm just going to do pizza, teddy grahams and fruit. I have pink and green buckets that I'm going to put the snacks in.
CelebrateExpress has pink and purple Build a Bear supplies, but I'll usually just use plain plates to save money. I'll use pink plates, green dessert plates and pink and green spoon and forks
and napkins. ACTIVITES: I bought 9 bears that you stuff yourself at Hobby Lobby. They had 3 packs of bears stuffing and outfits in the bag and hang them on the back of the kids chairs. I also
have buckets with supplies to make accessories for the bears. I have material strips fur trim ribbbons and embellishments to make belts collars scarves hair bows and hats for the bears. I'm
also going to sew jean skirts from old jeans and t-shirts for the bears for the girls to decorate with fabric paint/markers. I have T-shirts (from Dollar Tree) for the girls to decorate
for themselves too. Next we are going to the Groomer. I'm going to have a tin bucket small spray bottle with Frebreze and baby washclothes to give their bears baths. I also have toy hair
dryers and brushes to fluff the bears when they are done. Then we are going to make ponytail holders for the girls and bear with plain ponytail holders and strips of ribbon. We're going to
tie the ribbon strips all the way around the ponytail holder. I have tons of different ribbon to choose from or mix and match. After the girls groom their bears they can make some
accessories. I have mini straw hats and ribbon and rhinestones collar (made from stripes of material and velcro)-the girls will add rhinestones bracelet (I found bead kits at the Dollar Tree)
and whatever else they can think of to make with the materials I have out. I'll give certificates for the cutest most original etc. Next I'll have baby books out to choose a name. Finally I
have a laptop so I'm going to put the information on birth certificates I made up and print them out and have the girls color them. GAMES: We'll play pin the clothes on the bear. I'm going to
blow up a picture of a bear and cut out t-shirt shapes with the girls names across them. We're going play pass the honey and bingo too. CAKE: I'm going to make a bear paw from a round cake
and cupcakes. FAVORS: drawsting backpacks bears outfits ponytail holders bubble bath (I'm going to decorate small bottles and fill them with bubble bath) swirl sucker with sticker with a bear
and curling ribbon and Build a Bear fruit snacks and teddy grahams. Hopefully it will be as fun as going to the mall!"
