For baby girl first birthday i did a Teddy Bear Picnic Party.  to begin for the invitation i use am american greeting card that had 2 bears having a picnic and in the front say i am celebrating my first birthday, inside the card i wrote a note saying " i am having a teddy bear picnic party. you and your favorite bear are invited. i will be waiting for you, nicole."  also in the invitation i included a picture of nicole that i took her in the backyard with bears and fruits around her. for the children goodie bag i used baskets with the covers like the one you use for picnic but in smaller sizes, and fill it with bears assortments that i bought in oriental trading. to decorated the party i used in the tables red and white square tablecloths and with a basket im the middle with the tablewares inside.  i used stuff teddy bears all around my backyard to decorate. for the food i made peanut butter and honey, ham and cheese sandwiches in the shape of bears, cookie bears, juices, fruit salad, etc.  the cake was a basket with my daughter first teddy bear in the middle. to begin the games i read the book'teddy bear's picnic party", then i did a game called find the honey pot, it was a regular pot that i painted like a honey pot and there were fill of surprised;  also i did stick the heart to the bear and during the party i did a bear box time capsule where the people wrote nice advices for my daughter and when they want she open it. the party was great, took me alot of time and running around to find the right articles, but it was worthy, everybody remember nicole 1st birthday party.
