For my daughter's 5th birthday I planned a "Teddy Bear Picnic". Invitations said for guests to bring their own bears or any other best stuffed buddies. Craft: Making teddy bears out
of brown and tan pom poms complete with googly eyes. Snacks: Teddy Grahams, lemonade and peanut butter-and-honey sandwiches made of bread cut with a bear-shaped cookie cutter. Free Play: I
put out blankets and baskets to pack with play food for their buddies. I included Ashlyn's collection of teddy bears and I found plastic ants at a craft store Games: Pin-the-Tail on Eeyore
and Musical Chairs with their buddies to the songs "The Teddy Bears' Picnic" and "Winnie the Pooh". (Tip: Give some candy or a fruit snacks to each child who
participates, then the winner picks something extra from a Grab Bag). Cake: We gave out cupcakes and ice cream scoops in muffin papers. Goody Bags: Various bear-themed trinkets and, of
course, gummy bears. This was my daughter's favorite party!
