We had a Teddy Bear Party for our daughter's 1st birthday. The invitation was made by a friend who has a printing business. We took a picture of our daughter surrounded by all of her teddy bears. The  inside of the invite said, "'Baby Girl' is having a "beary" special 1st birthday party!" and included all the info.  The colors of the party where pastel blue and yellow from the napkins. My sister-in-law made a  teddy bear cake and an individual teddy bear cake for the birthday girl. There were blue & yellow balloons to mark our mailbox.  On the tables were blue tablecloths, blue & yellow balloons and mylar  balloons with teddy bears and 1st birthday.  On the food table, we put one of her teddy bears in the rocking chair we got her for her birthday, and tied a balloon to the chair. We used yellow plates, cups, & forks, and the napkins had teddy bears on them, with yellow, blue, pink, & mint green accents.  We  served pizza, chips, pb&j sandwiches, & sodas. The party was planned for outdoors, but it rained so we packed 30-40 people in our little house!  Treat bags were yellow "lunch sacks" tied with blue ribbon.  They were filled with gummy bears, teddy grahams, & a teddy bear book. I also found teddy bear thank you notes.
