Thomas the train party- For my three year old we had a Thomas the Train party. We bought the traditional plates and napkins at U.S. Toy. I tried to get engineer hats for all the kids but they
were out of stock. For our activities we painted plain wooden steam engines that I had bought at the Wal-mart craft department. For decorations I took the Little Tykes basketball goal and
made a rail road crossing.(I used two long garage sale signs and placed them in a criss cross and covered them with white paper. Then I stenciled "rail road crossing" on the cross.
Below I attached a black box that I had put a large wrapping paper tube that I had covered in white paper with red stripes. For the room I had red, green, and blue balloons. I made rail road
crossing signs.(yellow posterboard with black x and stenciled "R"s.) For the party favors I had bought tool boxes and filled them with train whistles, note pads, crayons, and Thomas
stickers. For the cupcakes I piped on baby blue icing in spirals on to the cupcskes. Then I topped them with toothpicks that I attached 3-d Thomas and friends stickers.
