Thomas the Tank Engine Party   Decorations:  Thomas the Tank Engine partyware: plates, cups, balloons, tablecloth. Party Location:  Miniature Train Park located on the outskirts of Portland, Oregon. Kids and adults enjoyed this.  Everyone sat in the tiny cars.  Very memorable. Cake:  Wilton Cake Pan of Thomas the Tank Engine. I made it myself.  The kids enjoyed eating the cake. Games: Pin the Caboose onto Thomas. Art Activity:  Picture frames made out of art sticks.  Kids decorated them with train stickers. I placed a photo of each child riding on the miniature train into the frame.  The kids decorated small packing boxes into trains. I spray painted each box a different color.  The kids painted on engine faces and numbers. I stapled on the sides string, so that the kids could have the "train" on their shoulders.  They had a race around the picnic area. The was great! Goody Bags:  Bubbles, train erasers, and I found some die-cast Thomas trains for a cheap price at Kaybee Toys.  My son loved this party! Each friend brought him a new train car for his Thomas train set.
