For My 10th Birthday Party I was very excited. it is a big thing in my family because your turning double digits! This was my double digits tie dye party!
Invite your friends to come to your house to tie dye t-shirts. all you need to do other than regular b-day party stuff is get some cheap t-shirts(maybe a package from a craft store) and a couple of tier dye kits. you can go on line for tie dye techniques i usually have 3-4 hour parties unless its a sleepover, so tie dye doesn't keep you busy for hours, i tied in games like hot potatoe, hide-n-seek, and had a pinata, we also let people go in the pool we also thought of some games that tie nito tie dye: tie dye pillow case contest- split into teams, see who can make the most creative pillow case, then hang those pillow cases up w/ sharpies near for people to sign, perfect keepsake for birthday kid dye war- everyone puts on 2 oversixed , white aprons(1 on backwards so that none of there own clothes can get dyed) give each kid a water gun-filled w/dye- wear google to keep the eyes safe, then just squirt dye at each other untill dye is gone. now everyone has 2 colorful aprons invites were on a tie dye print paper my mom makes awesome cakes, so what se did was made the cake the shape of a t-shirt and made a tie dye design on it for decorations we tie dye all sorts of things before the party and put them all over the place **my party was a hit when we did it. everyone was talking about when we went back to school, i hope it works just as well for you good luck!!
