This was a Tinkerbell themed party we had for my 3 year old. INVITATIONS: I do a lot of photography work, so I found a Tinkerbell themed background & used her photo in the bottom corner
& stated Your presence is requested for a FAIRY Enchanted 3rd Birthday for Briley. In the small print, I put Although not required we ask your lil one to dress in princess attire. However
Fairy wings & wands will be provided for girls & pirate eye patches for boys. DECORATIONS: For decorations we used a Tinkerbell table cover for the food table then alternated all the
sitting tables craft table and present table with yellow & pink table cloths. For the eating tables centerpieces I used staged 3 baby food jars with labels & glue removed. I put
basket grass in each one and used pixie sticks with foam stars attached as the "flowers" in the grass.
I also put confetti & glitter in each one to give it a fancy look. I bought several candies that packaging matched (hershey kisses ect) & had these around the tables. I had each child a there on place setting Tinkerbell themed cups napkin plate with bright colored fork/spoon & place cards I made. Each place card had the childs name & for girls a picture of Tinkerbell & for boys a Pirate skull. I bought several gerber daisy when they were on sale at Micheals for $1. I also bought bright colored cupcake holders & put valentine colored candy corn & candy hears in them wrapped with cellephane & tied with a ribbon. For the food table I had several Gerber Daisys (all bright colors blue pink yellow green) I had bought from Michaels for $1 each & had them in vases around the "buffet" table along with balloon bouquets. I also had many different clip on butterflies clipped on to the food dishes. I also found some small tinkerbell pails at Target for $1 & used these on the food table with different candies in them. Some had M&Ms (colors that matched the theme) hershey kisses ect. ACTIVITIES/COSTUMES: When the guest arrived I provided each girl with a set of Fairy Wings Fairy Wand Fairy Crown & Fairy Necklace. Each boy received a Pirate eye patch & Pirate hat. I actually bought these for very cheap thanks to our Walmart having an overstock of Halloween supplies (at 90% off). I had known that moment that she would have this fairy party. PARTY SNACKS: I had a whole theme of "fairy items" I made chocolate covered marshmallows that were colored to match with sprinkles & wrapped in cellaphane w/ribbon. These were placed in a big vases & looked adorable!!! Huge hit they were also used as to go party favors. I made fairy fruit kabobs with "pixie dust" (sugar crystals). These included pineapple chunks strawberries strawberry marshamllows & grapes. We had a "fairy" garden vegetable trays pretzel wands (chocoloate covered pretzel rods w/sprinkles) Pirate Cannonballs (cheesepuff balls) PB&J sandwhiches cut into butterfly & star shapes Cheese & cracker tray & Fairy pinwheels (strawberry cream cheese on a flour tortilla cut into pinwheels). For the punch table we had made a color schemed punch to match Green Sherbert icecream pineapple juice & ginger ale!! Huge hit & very tasty! CAKE: the cake was a beautiful 2 3/4 sheet cake with all the fairy friends on it made to look like a flower garden & waterfall. GAMES: The kids played "Pin the Star on the Wand" I bought a green colored poster board & decorated it with print outs of Tinkerbell & the phrase "All it takes is Faith Trust and a little Pixie Dust". I created the wand part out of brown pipecleaners & had several star cut outs with each of the kids names. FAVORS: This also went along with the Activites but had a ton of party favors I had bought 75%-90% off right after Halloween & Christmas (bubbles rings pencils slinkys balls ect) so instead of making the goody bags up I bought white medium size gift bags & several foam stickers letter stickers & glitter glue. Each child got to decorate there own. In total we had 23 kids at this party & was the most fun I ever had trying to decorate & put things together! Everyone really enjoyed the food ideas & the decorations!"
