For my daughter's 3rd birthday, she wanted tinkerbell. So we rented a local chinese fastfood restaurant since the food there is just her favorites. INVITATION. since i cant find a
tinkerbell invitation here, i made one myself. on a lime green background, i had tinkerbell on the half side then on the other half it says you're invited to my magical 3rd bday party to be
held on __ at __ with a little trust and pixie dust we'll have a great party. Please join us".
DECORATIONS. we had lime green & purple balloons all around the room. and since the food was catered we used the tinkerbell paper plates as wall decorations too. there was a separate table for the cake a tablle lined with tinkerbell tablecover for the favors & prizes. A big tarpaulin banner which says HB. i also had another poster size picture of tinkerbell made on tarpaulin. it serves as a deco and a part of a game. ACTIVITIES. to start we had the kids guess how may jellybeans was in a jar. then they get to eat the jelly beans. they also played pingpong ball relay. 2 groups race with ball in spoon on the mouth (this is for bigger kids. the party was attened by kids from ages 0-12...total kids was 26). another game was pin the star of tinkerbell. i used the poster size tarpaulin i had made. i made star cutouts with double sided tapes on the back. 2 batches played- small kids & big kids. i had 6 games lined up but since there were too much kids each game took so long. COSTUMES. my daughters (bday celebrant and her older sister) wore tinkerbell costumes with wings. i wore a tinkerbell shirt while my husband wore a pirates shirt. We requested the other kids to wear their costume if they want. only one came in with costume so we gave her a prize for best costume. The other kids we prepared for them. for the girls we gave them wings & a wand. the wand i made with a wooden dowel wrapped with ribbon & the top i tied a shiny ponytail holder with different shapes. the wings we bought for $1 each. for the boys i made black bandanas and eyepatch to make a pirate look. i bought a black cloth & garter and just cut and sew. FOOD. the party was from 4pm-6pm. we served early dinner. it was catered. we had rice spring rolls chow mein sweet and sour pork chopseuy siomai halaya and soda. CAKE. i just had a sheet cake. the bakeshop in the area does not do special cakes. i just got a tinkerbell toy and put it on top. FAVORS. aside from the wings wand eyepatch & bandana each kid gets a lootsack. i made the sack with 2pcs purple art paper. in the front i had a card that matches the invitations that i made that says thank you. since most kids are big we decided to put practical stuffs like pencils pens face towel crayons & toothbrush. i also made a tinkerbell activity book. the cover is tinkerbell and at the bottom its says my daugter's name & birthdate. the inside pages i downloaded online (coloring pages and other activities). the size is a 8x10 folded in half. My daughter really enjoyed her bday. she remembers its very well. i had made a dvd of the still pictures made so she can watch it over and over. "
