We had a Buzz Lightyear Party for my son who turned 4. We had it at our local rec center. I had 10 guests boys and girls. I sent store bought invitations. We had snacks and cake for food. For the food I wanted to use things that could resemble space. I had cheese and crackers, the cheese was Sargento that was shaped like sun/moon. Black olives for black holes" we made sugar cookies and used star and moon cut outs. Cheese balls and other misc. I wanted to have something for the kids to work on while waiting for all the guests to arrive the first was I copied a coloring page of Mr Potato Head with no face. I then bought a bunch of face stickers from oriental trading company (they were actually pumkin face making stickers) so the kids could make there own Mr Potato Head. The other two were space pages with space stickers also bought from "OTC". I also brought my sons Mr Potato Head collection. We had about 6 or 7 different Head and I set them up at a table with just the feet in and the kids could decorate those as well. And let me say they were the hit!!!!!!! Once all the kids arrived I had alien masks for them to make. Also purchased from "OTC". They all made one with moms or dads help. Then we played Pin the tail on Hamm (from Toy Story). I had a picture of Hamm enlarged and then cut pink ribbon for the tails. Each child had to pin the tail on and each got a prize. I purchased Buzz Lightyear plastic stadium cups off Celebrateexpress.com. Then I purchased little rubber duckies from our local dollar store and placed them in a tub of water. The kids choose a duck. What I was going to do did not work out because stickers would not stay on the bottom so I just colored the bottoms of the ducks 3 different colors and had 3 colored bags. Whatever color duck they choose they received something from that bag. They didn't really realize they were the same gift. I bought Buzz Lightyear Pez from Celebratexpress.com also. I was going to have a seek and find game outside but it rained so we could not do it but I purchased plastic army men and covered Starburst with foil (for moon rocks) and purchased little LGM's from Disney Store and was going to hide them for the kids to find. Then I had bought a Buzz lightyear Bubble Blaster that we were going to play with for a few minutes also. Oh well! So we went on to the Pinata. I bought a Buzz Lightyear Pinata from Celebrateexpress.com it was adorable. I hated having the kids break it. I filled it with a prebought 2 pound bag of treats. Everyone took 2 tries and it still did not break finally one of the bigger sisters broke it. We then had cake and opened gifts. On the TV (in the background) Toy Story was also playing. For the Party Favors I got orange bags I had purchased space name tags and wrote the names on each one so no one would mix up bags. Each bag had a Alien Coloring Book that I found at our local dollar store I bought alien stickers popups Star gummies from "OTC" I purchased Buzz lightyear stickers from Walmart. They received a milky way mini candy bar and I made a Buzz lightyear coloring book from Buzz lightyear.com. It was a huge success. The kids loved everything and had a blast."
