Toy Story 2 - Buzz Lightyear - 3 year old party  For my son's 3rd birthday party he requested a Buzz Lightyear theme. I drew a big Buzz Lightyear, stuck it on a wall, and made several utility belts. The kids then took turns to be blindfolded and stick the utility belt on Buzz. I made a Woody pinata which was a big success. We played the 'claw game' - the kids took turns to 'fish' a plastic toy out of a bucket of water with a pair of tongs. We played 'races' where the kids ran around pretending to be their favourite Toy Story character such as Jessie riding Bullseye or Buzz flying to Infinity and Beyond. For the cake I placed a toy figurine of Buzz on top of a cake I had cut out to look like a planet, along with laminated pictures of Zurg and some aliens which I had downloaded from the Disney site. The kids also had fun swimming in big paddle pools; blowing bubbles; and being covered in crazy string.
