My son had a veggie tales birthday party for his 2nd birthday.
We found it difficult finding decorations up in canada but ended up ordering through Birthdayexpress.com and decorated with green yellow and red streamers and baloons. Because this was for 2 year old boys we kept it simple. For games we had defeat the giant pickle.( a veggie tales video) for this the kids threw red (tomato) water balloons and green (cucumber) water balloons at a picture of the giant pickle made on regular computer paper, when it got soggy enough it tore the paper off the fence the kids had knocked him down and defeated the giant pickle. We also had King George's duck pond( a small baby pool filled with rubber ducks) the kids had to fish them out with nets and find the ones with a black dot. For food we had tomatoes and cucumbers, hotdogs, green jello jigglers made out of the grape mold,( we called them the french peas. I also ventured to make my own Larry the cucumber cake rather than buy the pan. I used a rectangle pan and cut the cake into a oval shape and decorated with green icing I also rolled white icing for the eyes and his tooth. Because my son has a wheat allergy I always make a wheat free cupcake for him to enjoy so I made the cupcake look like Bob the tomato. It was great the kids had veggie tales silly songs playing while the party was on and to mellow the kids before going home they watched a Veggie Tales movie. In the lootbags we added a veggietales blowout, a sheet of veggie tales stickers, bubble blowers, and a few vegetable shaped candy suckers.
