My daughter turned 5 in November. She wanted a Cinderella in Winter Wonderland party. The invitations were printed on regular card stock with a plastic winter snowflake on it.(Purchased from
the dollar store ) I then placed a stamp of Cinderella on the front of the evenlope with light blue paint. Before the paint dried, I poured white fine sparkles over the evenlope so Cinderella
had a sparkle to her. Inside the invite I placed 5 confetti snowflakes , 5 for the age she was. When you opened the invite they fell out. The decorations were white and clear plastic
snowflakes
and cardboard stars,( all purchased from the dollar store) which hung in a mix match pattern from the ceiling. I placed white and light blue streamers around each of my door openings. All colors were silver light blue and white. We had a small tree for her all decorated in white. All from the dollar store. I then had another 3 small trees with white lights on them. All table covers were white. we did 3 different crafts. All from foam. Colors were white and blue. We made bookmarks and I purchased some stick on snowflakes from the local craft store. Also we made snowflake necklaces. White sparkly yarn with cutouts of snowflakes in different sizes. I had a friend help the children pick out 3 different colors each then we layered the pieces gluing them together. We then placed a sparkly bead in the centre. For added sparkle. The final craft was snowflakes. I had all the pipcleaners twisted together ahead of time, making sure each snowflake had 6 tips. The pipe cleaners all white, which the children beaded themselves. I made her cake in a round shape with white icing and sprinked white candied sprinkles on it. I put a small cinderella coach with the Prince and Cinderella . Also included was 2 mice and 2 birds. The edging was white Gum drops. The children loved it! My daughter really wanted Cinderella to be a part of our group, so each child recieved a Cinderella ring with Lip gloss inside. ( Purchased from a party store). For Loot bags I had clear plastic bags. Inside was a Christmas cracker, a candy cane, light blue sparkly pencil, a bracelet with sparkly stones, and a plastic snowflake. ( All from the dollar store). The food was pizza for the children and parents who stayed. We made chocolate snowballs, had dipped marshmallows in white chocolate and pretzel rods dipped in white choc. As an added treat I made white cupcakes and decorated with white icing. I placed 2 marshmallows one on top of the other. I put a mint on top for a hat, mini pretzel sticks for arms, and purchased some black writing gel for the eyes. You guessed it snowman topped cupcakes! they were a huge hit! Cinderella is very hard to find in winter celebrations But this was one party she would have loved to be here.
