International Festivity I hosted an International Festivity in my quaint apartment and it was a great success!
We decorated the walls with Italian, Chinese and French posters (homemade by my fellow graphic design friend), and brightly-colored streamers. Since there was very little room for sitting, a lot of people sat on rustic grass mats on the floor and a couple leather African bean-filled chairs. Everyone (over 20 people) brought an international appetizer or dessert.Someone brought Brazilian ice cream (a cut out pineapple with vanilla ice cream inside. We had English scones, French pain au chocolat, German potato cakes, Italian cake, Austrialian biscuits, etc., etc. Everyone was thrilled to bring something and take part in the party. We decorated the food table with a huge metal Eiffle Tower; and the small international flags that people brought were placed in the grooves of the Eiffle Tower. Very colorful and festive! Later on, we played Mafia, for an Italian twist. The whole party was a huge success and was talked about for weeks afterwards!
