i was turning 12 and wanted to do something different, that none of my friends have ever had done before. So i tryed this; my mom and i made a bunch of dishes the Italians are known for. We
decorated the house like we were in Rome, Italy and put the flag on some walls and bought an Italian flag table cloth. i used construction paper in the Italian flag colors and cut two of the
three colors into thirds. i arranged the colors to resemble the flag and put a picture ot the Coliseum on the frunt of it, to make it look like a poastcard. on the back was the invitation
itself. once all my friends were there we made our own pizza. while it was cooking we played some games like... we divided ourselfs into two groups, my mom took two suitcases stuffed with
clothes into the other room and hind a penny in each. the object of the game was to find the penny before the other team did. but no one could let the clothes touch the floor, if they did,
that team would lose a player. we also played another game where one person would leave the room and everyone else in it would decide what their perfeshion would be when they came back in.
anything was ok as long as you could find it in Italy. everyone knew what that person was but that person. they would all give him/her hints as to what they are. the person who gave he/she
the hint that lead them to guess the right answer would go next, and so on. another is...we divided , again, into two different teams. my mom would hold up pictures of sculptures, buildings,
and famous places and we would have to come up with the name of each place. each team would shout out answers and the first team to answers correctly would win a point. this continues until
all the pictures have been shown. show an even amount of pictures but have a tie-breaker that is harder than the rest. when the pizza was done we ate, had cake in the shape of Italy in its
flags colors, opened presents, and played games some more. when parents started to come each kid got a grab bag". in it was a mini flag a small Leaning Tower of Pisa and some other cool
things. needless to say we had a blast!"
