International Party (kids 11-13) This is a good idea for everyone to enjoy in an original kid's party. First ask each of the guests to come dressed like they would in their favorite country. Than, for food, arrange your table and decorate it with stuff from several countries: Mexico, Thailand, China, France, Egypt, for instance. Than, serve like- a- buffet with dishes from each country. With some research, you'll find games from all over the world: Mexican piñatas: you can fill them with candy, sugar cane and confetti, which is the original filling of the piñatas. You can also play Holi, which is and Indian (from India) game (actual for them is a religious ritual) in which people throw confetti and colored water over their heads, that could be a water-fight idea. You can also play mimics, trying to find out which country´s people is the person imitating. At last, for girls, you can try and find henna and tell them to try to tattoo their hands with it, using a toothpick to make the forms. If you want an easier option, try washable tattoos with exotic designs. For take-home bags, you can fill them with candy, toy Mexican hats, henna bags, small toy pyramids or Eiffel tower models, too. You can also try and find out how to say each of the guest's name in another language, and write it on the bag.
