For my daughter, Morgan's 6th birthday we had her friends come to the pavillion at our city park. They were able to play on the playground equipment together. At a set time the local pet store brought out baby animals for the children to see and hold. They included Iquanas, snakes, rabbits, puppies, kittens, and frogs. The children were mesmerized by the animals and because they too were babies they were not frightened. Check with you local pet store to see if they offer this or if they would be interested in starting this program. The fee was nominal, just enough to cover gas and it was educational for the children. We provided anti-bacterial wipes for the children to clean up after handling the animals.
