Mardi Gras Party - This was an easy party to put together and the kids loved it.

We began by choosing a princess/mardi gras dress for the birthday girl. Complete with hat and mask.

We then decorated a wagon with mardi gras decorations.  We used lots of mardi gras tensil and signs for the "Order of Madison" (birthday girls name).  We spray painted a large beach ball with gold paint and placed it on the back of the wagon to look like Cinderella's carriage.

Birthday girl entered the procession through a sea of confetti thrown by party guests.  The birthday girl, Queen Madison, was escorted through the parade route by her very own Marshall (Dad dressed the part) and threw candy and mardi gras throws to the guests.

Decorations for the party area were Mardi Gras streamers and other easy to find Mardi Gras decorations.  The parade was great and the party was very inexpensive.
