This was my daughter's 5th birthday. She wanted to wear a big white dress and this is where the idea stemmed from. I decided to kind of have an Angel party, where she was the Angel and since it was her birthday, she was the center of attention. Well, I sent out angel invitations to all who were invited.  My daughter got to wear a white lacy dress with white nylons and white shoes.  I made her wings our of feathers and attached them to her dress. I also made a golden halo that sat on the top of her head.  There were clouds hanging from the ceiling, which were cardboard cutouts with cottonballs glued on them.  I also had stars hanging from the ceiling as well. To give the effect that we were in Heaven. We played games such as "Pin the Halo" on the angel.  I also cut out extra stars and put each of the kids' names on them. Then I had them decorate them with an assortment of arts and crafts that I had for them to take home.  It was great fun and something a little different.
