Sponge Water Relay

This is an outdoor game and great for kids aged 4 - 8. You have the kids split up into 2 teams.  Each team is a relay team.  At one end of the yard is a bucket filled with water and a sponge for each team.  The kids line up at the bucket.  At the other end of the yard is a chair with a clear tall glass(one for each team).  One kid from each team puts the sponge into water, runs to the empty glass and squeezes out the water into the glass.  Then he runs back and hands the sponge to next on his team.  This continues until one team fills up the glass.  We always end up doing this a few times because the kids have so much fun with it.
